This is a really cool visual effect card trick that is performed on two spectators. Spectator number one is asked to choose a card. The card is then placed into the deck ( halves ) and the deck is combined into one. The trick is holding the cards apart with your pinky so the chosen cards position is still visible to you. You continue to hold the break by moving your thumb into the break, you cut the bottom half, in half and place that on top. Repeat the procedure with the break half, and place that on top so now the spectators chosen card is on top. You have to do another thumb break (hold the card apart from the deck with the edge of your thumb) with the top card ( the chosen card ). You then flip that half over and hold the chosen card flipping the half over again which places the chosen card facing a different direction and back on the bottom of the deck. He then instructs you to do a slip cut, or cut the middle of the deck out and continue to do so, so the chosen card stays put in the back of the deck facing the wrong direction. You ask spectator 2 to chose a card from the face up portion of the deck you are slip cutting and have them say "stop". When they do, you want to make a thumb break under that card and double under cut the deck so the chosen card is on the bottom. You flip the deck over and now you have both chosen cards on top. One is facing forward the other is backward. You then do a false cut so you do not disturb the order and you say you will find the cards in three seconds. You break the deck in half, flip over the top card, slide the cards down the table and both chosen cards are on top of the piles.
